Adderley Bungalow: A Heritage Plantation Retreat

Built around the 1880s, Adderley Bungalow is one of the finest plantation bungalows in South India. Nestled in the lush green valleys of the Nilgiris, it offers an idyllic escape with its breathtaking location and rich heritage, dating back to the pioneers of South Indian plantations. The bungalow's colonial architecture reflects British influences with arched entrances, verandas, tiled roofing, and miniature windows, all designed to optimise airflow and showcase stunning views.

Strategically located 12 km from Coonoor town, the bungalow offers tranquillity, away from the bustle of town life, making it the perfect spot for relaxation and reflection.

You can choose to book the entire property or individual rooms, depending on your preference.

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome only when booking the entire bungalow. The property is ideal for dogs, featuring ample space and secure fencing. However, for the safety of your pets and local wildlife, we recommend keeping pets indoors after 6 PM due to the presence of leopards, panthers, and bisons in the area. Pets are not allowed on beds or sofas.

The suite room has two bedrooms and a single toilet perfect for a family of 4 to 5.
The Annexe of the Suite room opens out into the verandah and living of the the property while the mains suite room opens up into the dinning room.
